Eat at Joe's

Something else remembered from the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne, on the wharf where the Cockade was tied up we had a regular visit from a mobile canteen. He sold sandwiches and such but what I recall best was his cups.  1956 was in the days before plastic or paper cups, hence a cup of tea was served in a china cup.  I remember this well because we always tried to pinch them as souvenirs. Printed on every cup was the logo “Eat at Joe’s” I wonder if he’s still in business?? (probably not). I wonder if anyone besides me remembers him??
