I was issued this Admiralty Driving Permit in Singapore Dockyard after taking a driving test with the Civilian Transport Manager. I was then appointed a driver for the duration of the Melbourne Olympic Games. The vehicle was originally a US Army Jeep but repaint Royal Navy Blue with large white RN letters on each side. In Invercargill New Zealand I drove a NZ Army Vehicle, a 1949 Ford four door Sedan flat head V8. Those were the days!!! Anyone else out there have an Admiralty Driving Permit thats 53 years old.
Good to know about your experience. It helps many new drivers who plans to takes the drivers permit , there by saving time and money.
