The Cost of Politicians???

Wow!! In the last year our four Island MP’s have cost tax payers approx 1.5 million in expenses covering travel-accommodation-staff etc etc. God only knows what the total cost is across the country, don’t think I want to know. But I’d like to know what this huge expenditure has actually achieved for the tax payers of PEI and the country in general??? The current news certainly does not express confidence in the government or opposition parties at the moment. Misuse/abuse of parliamentary privilege, forgery,hiding info, overspending and the story goes on and on. No wonder we have a huge deficit. We need a new and honest government and we need it yesterday!!
