On The Beach

No, this is not about the book (On the Beach) authored by Nevil Shute nor is the scene in the photo taken in Australia. Its Cavendish beach on 26th May 2011, a lovely warm and sunny day. Linda and I with our friends Carl & Jan had a picnic lunch and a walk along the sandy shore. Regarding the film based on the book, an ‘A’ class Royal Navy submarine (HM/SM Andrew) was used as Gregory Peck’s USN nuclear submarine. Most of the world was already dead as Australia await the deadly
radiation to reach their shores!!!!A good read.
