Women’s World Cup

As a long time promoter of girls soccer I’m very disappointed with the Canadian Media’s coverage of the Women’s World Cup. CBC is the only organization showing the games. The Charlottetown Guardian has yet to print any info on the results, just a brief mention of Christine Sinclair’s broken nose. The front sports page of the Globe & Mail make no mention either. This is a major sporting event involving 32 nations from around the world. In my opinion miles ahead of these so called World Series of Baseball which only take place in the USA. Lets give the Worlds great female soccer athletes the coverage they deserve. In particular lets cheer on the Canadian team, Go Canada Girls Go.
