I put up my Arsenal pennant because the Canadian women’s team reminded me how bad Arsenal finished the premiership league. Team Canada did just as badly and even played in Arsenal Red! I know the girls played hard and gave it everything, but they are just not at that level of soccer yet. A very disappointing end and made worse by the fact they were proclaimed to be a very strong contender. Sad, one goal for and seven against is not good enough on the World stage. The next Women’s World Cup in 2015 is here in Canada, I hope we have some big improvements by then or its going to be embarrassing.
