Since the recent visit of the Royals to Canada it seems many people have the idea that William will bypass Charles and become King. Some believe the Queen will retire and appoint William and Kate as the next Monarchs. Well folks that can’t happen if I understand the law. Charles is next in line for the throne, that is the law no one can change it, not even the Queen. Therefore Charles will become King, maybe for a very short reign but king nevertheless. The only path to the throne for William is through succession after his father Charles. Sorry if you are disappointed but that’s the way it is, get ready for Queen Camilla!!!
