Amazingly fast Thinking

I wont go into details as this is a private story. However I must comment because I was so impressed with the outcome. A good friend was talking with a family member via a Skype video phone call. During the call my friend collapsed and fell to the floor. The family member thousands of miles away stayed on the line but also had the foresight to call the local RCMP who in turn called the local detachment on PEI. Within minutes a squad car and ambulance were on the scene. My friend was rushed to the hospital and is now recovering and in safe hands. Without this amazing technology she could have remained laying on the floor for hours until discovered. What a great outcome from today’s communication systems. But more importantly what a quick thinking and wise decision made from the other end of a phone thousands of miles away. You saved a life that day.
