Last week of Election Race.

So where are we as we enter the last week of the provincial election? Lets deal with the Conservatives first. I think they have made some gains on the Liberals due mostly to the PNP. However, there is still very little to choose between the two major parties. Neither have touched the subject of chemical farm spraying or fish kills, the PC’s did mention banning cosmetic lawn sprays. A step in the right direction but not nearly enough. The Liberals Ah! the old PNP issue has raised its ugly head again. I don’t buy Ghiz and his emphatic denials that not he or his family have received PNP’s. That may be true but his failure to release the names of those who did is the problem. If this was all above board there would be no reason not to release those names. This issue will not go away and I think at sometime after the election they will be released. That’s probably not the way it should happen, but there is nothing we can do but exercise our right to vote and make those in power pay. I don’t really care if we end up with a Liberal or Conservative government just as long as its balanced with a strong opposition.
I’d vote Green but do not have a candidate in my riding.
Cheers and keep reading.
