Proportional Representation

Surely the time has come for a change to our electoral system. What a different government we could have today if proportional voting had taken place,14 liberals 12 PC’s and 1 Green. In this system the voting public are so much better represented, its ridiculous that 40% voted other than liberal and yet they still won 22 seats. A strong opposition is absolutely necessary if we are going to move forward in this Province. To date we either have a top heavy liberal or PC government, they usually last two maybe three terms, get thrown out and the same cycle starts over again. I believe with proportional voting all party’s will see a greater possibility of winning a seat/seats and that would spur them on to work hard toward that goal. In the present system we will continue to get the same old same old!!! and the Greens NDP etc will be left on the fringes. Its time for change folks, let your MLA’s know this..
Cheers and keep reading.
