Vespa’s Everywhere

On our recent weekend visit to Halifax we went to the local Vespa Scooter dealership. Wow! what an array of new and vintage scooters. There were Vespa;s dating back to the mid fifties, a very rare Bella, a German scooter of 1952 vintage. In the corner two BMW bikes (boxers) and on a shelf a sidecar. In the show room I was briefly tempted to ask about trading my Lambretta on a new Vespa Stella, list price only $3800. I managed to resist, I think I need to drive the Lambretta for a while before I think of trading. Still it was an very interesting visit and at times I had to rein Linda in a bit when she got excited about the VW convertible and Mini Cooper in the driveway, not forgetting the BMW’s. I managed to leave empty handed but with an updated Christmas list.
Cheers and keep reading.
