Strange, the subject of my last post was about the city buses in Charlottetown PEI. Today I found this photo on the net! It was taken during the London blitz of 1941, A huge crater in the road has collapsed into the underground railway tunnel almost swallowing the double decker bus. Memories of a violent and sad time when the world was at war. Its maybe food for thought when we start to complain about pot holes in our own roads in the spring!!!!
On another note, we have just come in from our 40 min 3.2 klm morning walk with the dogs. The fields behind our home our truly beautiful at this time of year. It is snowing today and no wind, the fields and tree are peaceful and silent. Life is good and the dogs love their morning romp, the highlight of their day, ours too come, to think of it..
Cheers and keep reading.
