A Lighter Topic.

I thought an Austin Seven was a lighter subject than negotiating with Hitler. If you remember I posted a story about my little 7HP car some time ago, but at the time didn’t have a photo of the actual car. I posted a photo of a very nicely restored two tone blue Seven as an example. I don’t recall seeing an Austin Seven being any other colour than black. A bit like Henry Ford’s Model T, his ad said “You can have it in any colour you like as long as its black”. I guess the tiny Austin might have been available in a few other colours but black was the norm! Anyway I have really dragged this story out eh!!! When all I wanted to do was show you a photo of my actual Austin Seven. Found the photo a few days ago, it was taken in or near Bristol in 1959-60, my father and family members posing in front. The hood ornament is my brothers son Phillip, he just retired which is an indication of how old the photo is. Sorry this is probably boring!!!!!
Cheers and keep reading
