Upcoming Newfoundland Trip

On Thursday morning Linda and I plus our two dogs are hitting the highway for Newfoundland.Aiming for the North Sydney overnight ferry crossing Thursday night. We are using our nine year old Dodge Grand Caravan, because of the dogs. They have promised to help with the gas, and to push or tow if necessary. The ferry trip is about six hours depending on the weather, Linda is more worried about that than me, and we didn’t mention it to the dogs. Newfoundland is a beautiful Province with breath taking scenery. Susannah, Ruth and the kids are looking forward to our visit. I have been booked for a visit to the Grand Falls school and that will be fun. We hope to visit Fogo Island and the village of Tilting. An old Irish settlement that has not changed in hundreds of years, I should feel at home there. So folks for the next ten days my posts will be a little irregular. We have to search for places with internet connection? It should be fun, my only worry is placing my faith in a 9 year old Chrysler Product.
Cheer and keep reading.

We are very excited and own slightly more reliable vehicles with which to come rescue you! We are so looking forward to you staying in our lovely province and my house now that the large rodent has been removed! Peter is thrilled at the prospect of more puppies to antagonise and Snoopy is as always just plain happy! Angus can’t wait for Angel! Love you
    Your newfie herd!
