The Good Old Days

This morning I had Linda help me upload a copy of my book to a site on the internet “The Royal Navy & Me”. While looking over the fourteen chapters it took me back in time. I guess that is something that happens as we get older, we tend to dwell in the past? The photo I have posted was taken aboard HMS Cockade alongside in Hong Kong Harbour circa 1956. If this photo does nothing else it does prove that I did actually work!!!. Polishing the numerous brass fittings was a endless chore for the very junior of sailors, and that was me!!! The good old days Eh!!!!
