HST Protest

Judging by the size of the HST protest held in Charlottetown last evening, we are going to get hit with the new tax. Approximately 200 people turned out to protest, that was a very poor response and will probably be ignored by this government. The HST is coming whether we like it or not. That leaves us with one final protest. The next election day, will be our opportunity to rid ourselves of what is the worse provincial government in recent history. The Premier, Robert Ghiz, needs to find another line of work, his popularity plunged by 21 points in a recent poll. That speaks volumes about his inept performance.  This government should take note. Whether Islanders did or didn’t turned out to protest HST you can be sure the majority are against this tax. You can also be sure Islanders have long memories, and will remember on voting day.
Cheers and keep reading.
