Well here we are in July 2012 and what has changed on this beautiful island?
The Hills of Borden now look more like a jungle, last year we could have filmed a re-enactment of the Battle of Somme, the Hills looked like a World War one battle site. How about fish kills, another huge one in the Trout River. The official word, the cause has yet to be determined??? Really!! Give me a break we all know what caused this latest fish kill. The same thing that caused all the other fish kills. All the while the farmers go on spraying their toxic chemicals on the land.I have to wonder what happens to the spray that doesn’t end up in the rivers. Is it possible it soaks into the soil and finds its way into the islands only water table????? But not to worry, we will soon have a lovely new and fast highway through the once beautiful Bonshaw area. I’m wondering why this government reminds me of Nero? didn’t he fiddle while Rome burned? Is Ghiz dozing while the Island dies????

I hear you loud and clear. The unit I work at is a disgrace and in dire need of upgrading and more nursing staff. Unfortunately, our budget was cut severly to give Mrs. Doctor Ghiz a lovely new emergency room to play doctor in, while the rest of the hospital looks like it belongs in a third world country. Ghiz has his favorites for sure.
