ALC defends secret GeoSweep sales
Atlantic Lotto’s new GeoSweep had poor sales in U.K.
The Atlantic Lottery Corporation has funnelled $8.7 million into an equity stake in a British internet gaming company.
ALC has been reticent to disclose many details about its investment in Roboreus, creator of the GeoSweep game.
ALC spokeswoman Courtney Pringle Carver confirmed the $8.7 million amount.
Atlantic Lottery operates in the four Atlantic Canadian provinces.
She said two provinces — New Brunswick and P.E.I. — opted into the investment, each contributing $4 million.
Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia did not.
Is it any wonder this Province is in a financial meltdown?? I don’t think we can wait for the next election in 2015, this inept government needs to be recalled now. Its just one stupid thing after another, and its got to stop. Time Ghiz and his gang started to listen to the people.
