I imagine many husbands would praise their wives for a variety of reasons. Things like being a great cook, a wonderful mother, a caring friend, nurse, doctor,a best friend and greatest fan. Well my wife Linda, is all of those things too. However she is also much more. Last week I injured my back working on the Rover changing the fan belts. Not a big job by automotive standards you say. Right, but in this case changing the belts is somewhat more complicated. The Rover has a six cylinder engine that has been modified to fit air conditioning. Two belts run the system and it wasn’t a simple task replacing them. I had managed to remove the old belts and had the new ones almost in place when my back stopped me. For three days I could hardly walk and certainly couldn’t finish the job installing the belts. Guess what, my amazing wife said she’d have a look and see if she could finish the job. Today the Rover is running as sweet as ever, my back is still tender but I can walk and now thanks to Linda drive the Rover again.. Now that is one amazing wife! who can go one better than that???????????
