I supposed I could be compared with our provincial government making useless investments. Oh course, the big difference is I have invested a lot of time and little money. The government on the other hand have invested a lot of money in useless projects. Over the years I have slowly amassed what I think I can safely claim as the biggest stock of used Rover car parts in Eastern Canada. My theory was good, but the cars disappeared in the early 1970-80’s. I now have a parts supply for cars that no longer exist in this part of the world. I own a 1961 Rover P4-100 and to the best of my knowledge its the only one on the road in this part of the world. Even if I counted all the other Rover models in the area it would still not reach double figures. Nevertheless its been a lifetime of fun and adventure seeking out those elusive Rover barn finds. It will likely end up as just so much scrap iron after I’m gone. But hey! even scrap iron is worth something these days. That’s more than we can say about the many useless government projects. So folks if you know of anyone in need of a rare Rover part tell them about me. My prices are low to free and definitely do not include a HST charge.
Cheers and keep reading.
