Size! man’s preoccupations for centuries!! When I first arrived in Canada in 1964 cars were large, if one drove an Austin Mini expect to be laughed at. Actually that applied to most small foreign cars, Hillman,Morris,Renault and VW were all considered town cars. Japanese cars had not yet arrived on our shores and gas was cheap,$5 would fill the tank of the majority of cars. Now fast forward forty or more years. and see a Big Dodge Guts and Glory truck at the gas pumps. Well, maybe we don’t laugh but we are perhaps a little smug!! The little British cars have all but disappeared from our roads and have been replaced by Honda’s and Toyota’s plus the many other small Rice Rockets. The Big Three are considerably smaller these days and gas is considerably more costly. GM once considered the seventh largest country in the world now struggles just to stay in business. So gentlemen, is it time to re-think size??? Go park your Yank Tank (if you can find a space)and think about that????.
Cheers and keep reading.
