Plan B is a Disgrace.

The smiling face of Janice Sherry the Minister of the Environment is hard to reconcile to. She must know she is in a dreadful conflict with the majority of Islanders. In fact her, Vessey and Ghiz are all painfully aware that we do not want this project. Its like they don’t care, come hell or high water this bunch is hell bent on forcing their will on the people. Well guys, you can be sure it will be a different story come the next election. Its simply unbelievable that these arrogant politicians continue down this path. When in the history of this province have people stood in front of machinery, camped on construction sites, blocked huge earth movers etc. The answer as far as I know, is NEVER!!!! Maybe a few placards at Province House but never anything like this.
These brave and dedicated Islanders have my total support and I hope and pray they win the day and stop this idiotic project. I can’t believe that all members of the present government is in accord with what is happening. Perhaps its time the backbenchers took a stand, join the protesters at the site, stand shoulder to shoulder with the people who elected you. Your courage and support would surely gain the respect of all Islanders. Your future in politics assured. It would only take one brave MLA to do it and I think the flood gates would open. How about it Bush??? Bush Dumville is my MLA.
