Where is the National media

Why has this Plan B issue not been picked up by national media outlets? Where is the Television-radio and newspaper reporters? Here on Prince Edward Island we have a government out of control and using force to stop a peaceful and democratic protest. A lady who laid down in front of heavy machinery was removed by RCMP. People have tied themselves to trees. Another lady was forcefully thrown over the shoulder of an RCMP officer and carried off the site. Others have been led away in handcuffs. The pristine environment of the Bonshaw Hills are being destroyed, beautiful hundred year old trees cut down and rivers in danger of silt pollution. The Mi’kmac nation have blessed the site and lighted a sacred fire, all to no avail. The government line is Safety!!! but the government has yet to provide details of the accident rate for this particular stretch of highway. They continue to maintain this is all necessary for safety. The environmental assessment conducted by a private company hired by the government left many questions unanswered and in their report used words such as “will mitigate the damage”???
Hundreds of letters have flowed into the editor of the Guardian newspaper, and every day more roll in, the vast majority are against the project. An online plebiscite was held and showed a vote of 90 percent plus against Plan B. It was ignored just like all our other protests have been ignored. Just last week Wayne Easter the Federal MP (lib) came out in favour of Plan B???God only knows why he felt a need to become involved. I would have thought him smarter to stay neutral. Surely the Federal Liberal Party have enough problems without getting involved in provincial politics. This government has a huge deficit to contend with and cannot afford the many necessary items such as a new school in Souris, health care and education are all struggling. Their answer to the deficit is to impose HST on the people of this province next April. The list goes on and on while Ghiz and his crowd continue to dictate what they want and refuse to listen to anyone. If this is not national news worthy please tell me what is?????
