Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird recently defended the creation of the new office of Religious Freedom. Now that is real interesting because a week ago I sent a question to the Prime Minister, the Premier of Ontario and three PE Island MP’s. To date not a single response.
Regarding religious freedom I’m confused??it is apparently okay to have Muslim prayers in Ontario public schools but not the Lords prayer???
How about religious freedom in a Muslim country, see below.
Christians arrested, interrogated and jailed for distributing and reading bibles in Libya which is expressly
forbidden in a Muslim country.
Former Libyan leader Gaddafi permitted Christians to practice their religion. Libyan Security Services say ‘this is our country, if you want to come here, you abide by our rules, if you don’t like it, go home’. ‘If you want to practice Christianity, don’t come here, stay in your own country!’
Seems to me that should apply both ways.
Whats good for the goose should be good for the gander
Islamic prayers have been introduced into Toronto and other public schools in Ontario , and, yes, in Ottawa too while the Lord’s Prayer was removed (due to being so offensive?). The Islamic way may be peaceful for the time being in our country until the fanatics move in.
If this doesn’t concern you it should!! it certainly concerns me. I have no issue with Muslims following their religious practices any more that I have with Christians practicing. But lets keep it balanced, if no Christian prayers in schools then same should apply to Muslim prayers. Keep it in the churches and mosques temples etc.
God Bless and keep reading
