The First Day of Spring

spring2spring
Ah!! that wonderful first day of Spring when love is in the air and young men turn to thoughts of romance. When the fields and valleys are alive with the renewal of life. When the trees burst forth in blossoms and the birds sing out in the glory of nature. When we feel the first gentle warm breeze across the meadows. Where rabbits feed in the long lush grass. Where children run and play, happy, smiling and laughing. Where puppies chase sticks, and young cows stretch their limbs free from the barns of winter. What a marvelous time of year, a time when we feel young again and remember the wonderful feeling of the warm sunshine caressing our faces. Well, those were all the thoughts running through my mind this morning, that was until I looked out the window!!!! Ugh more snow, more cold winds and not a rabbit or bird to be seen anywhere. Ah!!! to be on Prince Edward Island on the first day of spring. What is wrong with this picture??????
God Bless and keep reading
