Life is One Day at a Time

I was feeling a little depressed over the weekend, maybe the weather had something to do with it. Maybe because my youngest daughter Susannah left on Sunday morning to return home to NFLD. She had been here for a week helping me look after her mother, Linda is recovering from a knee replacement operation. Maybe because there was no Premiership soccer on TV, the players were playing with their national teams in World Cup qualifiers.

But today is another day and time I smartened up. If you look at the photo I have posted with this blog you will see my family reunion in August 1960. It was the last time we all got together with my father before his death six months later, he had terminal cancer. What really jolted me out of my depression was the photo, out of the twelve people in the photo only four remain. Myself, my sister Anna, sister-in- law Faye, and my girl friend at the time Margaret. I didn’t miss the fact I’m the only male left???So I’m happy again and smiling, no more depression, life is good and we should live every day to the full. I didn’t post this because I was feeling sorry for my self, I thought perhaps if some one else woke up this morning feeling down, this might help brighten their day!
God Bless and keep reading.
