Moving is Hard Work!!!

house
Back in my Navy days I could pack all of my possessions in my old kit bag and just move on. Almost wish I was back in the Navy!!!! Packing today requires much more than a kit bag!!!. The barn is finally empty and the old falling down building is ready for the fire dept to do a controlled burn once the weather is suitable. Yet no matter how much I get done it seems at every turn I see more stuff to either pack, sell or junk. On top of that I have to keep the house presentable for viewings. We’ve already had two this week and one more tomorrow. The garage is more or less ready for my planned yard sale, maybe I should call it a garage sale, everything is in the garage??. I’m soooo tired!!!!and just too old of all this activity. I’ll be glad when its over, and I’m never going to collect stuff again!!! I promise.
God Bless and keep reading.

Ben – I’ve been meaning to speak to you, but keep missing you in church every week. I’m following your bittersweet blog posts about the move.

Are then any materials in the barn that I might be able to salvage for a kids tree-house before you burn it?

Hi Brad There is lots of lumber here so come down and help yourself. I would warn you the building is ready to fall down so you would do this at your own risk. Call before you come to make sure I’m home, and visit my giant yard sale while you are here. Cheers Ben tel 964-3020

Ok – I won’t come and disturb the viewers. Best of luck with the sale!
