We should all have a thought for our hard pressed Senators. Just imagine the difficult time our poor Senators are having, its just so unfair. First there were the very difficult residency forms to fill out, Mike Duffy had a devil of a time completing his, he got so mixed up he ended up not knowing where he lived. Now we are picking on poor little ole Pam Wallin, Quote from Pam “its just not fair!!!!” We the tax payers understand the senate changed the rules in 2012 and now she has to pay back over a hundred thousand dollars and that is after she already paid back 40,000 thousand. Boy!!! they really must have changed the claiming of expense rules for her to be that far out in her travel claims. Again, Poor Pam said, “its just not fair!!!!” Shame on us tax payers, we are being too mean on these cash strapped hard working senators. Is it fair that we have one in jail and four more under RCMP investigation. How can they work under these harsh conditions????
I think as a reward and to say thank you we should provide all our senators with a long and restful break, Perhaps we could arrange an all expense paid holiday somewhere away from the everyday hustle and bustle of political life., They do say Kingston is beautiful at this time of year, wonder if we could find them rooms in at the Kingston Penitentiary?????
