I received a surprise Christmas card from our premier Robert Ghiz. (not sure how I ended up on his Christmas card list???) He is so proud of his greatest achievement . The infamous HST and this elusive level playing field that Sheridan claims to have created !!!!There is not much in his record to be proud of in my opinion. Between his leadership with Sheridan and Vessey they have achieved only the anger and disdain of the majority of Islanders. To add insult to the dreadful state we islanders fine ourselves he had the nerve to send me a Christmas card. A card displaying his happy smiling well fed, well dressed family warm and comfortable in their pleasant surroundings. The well known seasonal term “Bah Humbug” comes to mind. If he is so full of the Christmas spirit perhaps he might give me directions to this level playing field they keep talking about. Because as things stand I find myself on a slippery slope that is far from even, indeed I’m slipping further down each day. I think I will land at the bottom soon but should be okay there are lots of people below me to break my fall. So to Robert Ghiz et al, I have posted a few of my not so favourite people as suggestions for next years Christmas cards. I would not advise using them on St Valentines Day though! not much love out there for politicians Liberals or otherwise. Finally my wish for the New Year of 2014 please call a provincial election, My favourite colours for the New Year — Green and Orange!!!!!!!
