First Day of 2014

warburton twowinter 001Before and after photos of the Warburton Road. Notice the stop sign barely above the snow line, but no accident worries the traffic is strictly via snow shoes. Well folks it is the first day of 2014, Happy New Year. You are probably just dying to know what my New Year resolution is??? Nothing too special, just my wish to live until 2015 so I can vote Robert Ghizmo and his liberal cohorts out of office. We Irish don’t make a big deal out of new years eve, not like the more rambunctious Scots, they are probably still celebrating as I write this blog.  For me it was let the dogs out for a final pee then into bed by ten o clock. The 1st January is just another day and maybe the time when we get back to a normal routine, paying bills, eating, sleeping and throwing the Christmas tree out!!! I will be glad to see the end of this winter, sick and tired of the snow already. However, just to keep life interesting the weather office have predicted another possible storm for Friday. Its hard to post interesting blogs when all I see is more snow. Better days ahead???? maybe.

Happy New Year and keep reading.
