Cabin Crazy???

Egads!!! I think I’m going crazy, I haven’t been out of the house since last Tuesday. Schools have not opened for five consecutive days, last Wednesday March 26th until  tomorrow April 2nd. For a large part of the last seven days we have been without power and surviving with a wood stove. When we ran short of firewood Linda dismantled an old large cat scratching post, which fortunately was constructed of lots of wood. It saved the day and we had heat, but I’ll admit I was getting tired of potato’s baked in the fire and the absents of coffee. We are finally back to normal, I have showered, dishwasher is running and Linda has blown a path to the roadway. Hopefully tomorrow we can drive into town and restock our fridge and pantry. I really hope this is the last of this dreadful winter, can’t take much more!!!!Time to get the Mini Cooper out for a drive. Its ironic that today is the 1st day of April— April Fools Day
