One could hardly be blamed for thinking this is a story of fiction. Well I guess it partly is, lets see what you think. Just yesterday our Fictional Prime Minister (his decisions are mostly unreal) made an extremely controversial declaration that his Government has approved the unpopular and widely opposed Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline. At this point one would expect the Prime Minister to head to the pristine forests of British Columbia to explain why he has approved such a controversial project. Surely the people of the lands that will be effected have a right to hear why he has made such an unpopular decision. But you would be wrong! instead of heading West our courageous Steven Harper ran for cover in the East. Believe it or not he has turned up in Cavendish, the fictional home of another loyal Harperite (or was once!!) Mike Duffy. Along this sudden tour of PEI he will be accompanied by little Miss Shea of island EI fictional fame. Wait for it the tour is not over yet, Stevie is visiting yet another island fictional character, Anne of Green Gables. Gee!!! I’m so glad we have such a caring leader who is taking care of business across this great land. I just hope he doesn’t leave without a little hat with red hair and pigtails. The only important thing that is not fictional in this story is the Northern Gateway Pipeline. And that is very concerning to all Canadians.
God Bless and keep reading
