O Canada!! they seem to be just words these days, no one really seems to care about our glorious land or if we still have freedom. Well yes, we do still have freedom but I see it gradually being eroded away by new and mostly unnecessary rules. For instance it is now not allowed to use the words God Bless (I always sign off using those words) in government offices, the reason it might offend our Muslim co workers?. If they find this offensive then they should have chosen another country in which to live. Our men and women fought and died for the very freedoms these newcomers now enjoy . Yet they demand we change our ways and habits to suit them. They don’t like our dogs, how we dress, how we treat women, what we eat and many other equally unreasonable issues. This is our country and its traditions are a part of us, they are traditions we are proud of, just as we are proud of this great Nation. To any one who doesn’t like our way of life, traditions, eating habits, our pets and most importantly how we treat our wives, sweethearts and daughters they should go elsewhere, Canada is not the place for them. Recently a young man was arrested and sentenced to 10 years in prison for terrorist activities in Somali. He apparently left Canada to join and train with a terrorist organization. Upon his return he was arrested, tried and found guilty. Ten years might okay if he actually serves the full term, but that is unlikely, he’ll probably be out after a few short years for good behavoir. What should have happened here is this, if he left the country to fight with any terrorist group he should have immediately lost his Canadian citizenship, his passport and all the rights and freedoms allowed to Canadians. He should not have been allowed back into Canada. That should apply to anyone who decides to go fight for a foreign terrorist organization. Revoke their citizenship, confiscate all properties, bank accounts, etc. Mohamed Hersi, when he is finally released from prison he should be escorted to the nearest airport and put on a plane back to Somali. We do not need Ungrateful, Unhappy and Angry people in Canada, clearly they don’t like being here so make them and us happy by sending them packing.
