Silence is golden is an old saying that I remember from my childhood. I especially remember my various teachers telling me so. However, regarding the Provincial Government the silence is rather ominous. Robert Ghiz in his usual leadership style remains mute on so many important issues. Issues the people of Prince Edward Island are entitled to have explained. Not a dicky bird on the question of deep water wells, could that be because we are in need of rain and its simply a bad time to tell us the wells are going ahead?. Robert Ghiz earlier stated that Minister MacKinley would explain his excessive food expenses charged to the tax payers when he returned from a trip. He has been home for some time now, but I hear only silence. I can’t believe that has anything to do with the lack of rain. Then we have Minister Sherry who has consistently failed to explain the science she apparently received regarding the deep water wells. Hmm, maybe she is busy thinking up an explanation for her fast food expenditures. It could be that she and Ronnie are comparing notes over at KFC. Lets not forget about the Million Dollar man! good ole Wes Sheridan and his over four million investment in Geo Sweep, anyone heard anything about that, or has it gone south like his many other investments??? Meanwhile silence is golden for the Irving/McCains, but not so golden for Islanders. It would of course make my old teachers proud!!!
