A Historic Day to Remember

001Yesterday the mood across the land was tense, on Mary Road we waited with bated breath as the days historic events unfolded. Around 10am Budge moved her car toward the garage, the excitement was almost overwhelming.  Slowly the garage overhead door began its upward motion and Budge entered. Moments later the shop vacuum cleaner appeared and car doors opened wide. Dust and garbage flew in all directions as the lonely KIA Soul shed her accumulated collection of Tim Horton cups, napkins, wrappers, dog hair, bones and other remnants of Newfoundland. Seat covers bravely waved on the clothes line while rubber mats lay awaiting the water hose. It was a most historic day to be sure  a day never to be forgotten,  I was so happy to have lived to see it!!! Oh!! sorry I almost forgot to mention,  Scotland voted to stay in the Union.Scotland411082245373_wps_16_YES_supporters_gathered_i
