Linda left yesterday for ten days in California visiting her brother David. I’m home alone, well not quite alone I have two dogs and a cat to keep me company! So this morning was a lazy morning, I had breakfast then lay around in my pajamas and house coat, thinking I’d have a shower later. After all what was the rush, there was nothing to worry about no one ever came to the door! right. Wrong, knock knock!! who could be calling on me at 9.30am on a Saturday morning???? Two young girls from the local high school were out fund raising for a trip to France. They were collecting empties to raise money. All my empties were in the garage, so off we went me entirely inappropriately dressed, to dig out my returnable bottles. Fortunately the girls seemed unfazed by my appearance and were happy to get the empties. Since then I have showered and dressed but no sign of anymore callers! The funny thing is this, I never even felt a twinge of embarrassment about my appearance ???I must be getting old!!!!
