Aftermath of the Storm

001002003The sun is finally out and the wind has stopped blowing, now comes the job of shovelling. You can see in the photo we are still unable to get off the deck as Linda moves a mountain of snow. With Yoda’s help of course. As she was doing this a big tractor/snow blower came down the road and we flagged it down. He cleared out the bulk of snow in the driveway and around the deck, it will make life a little easier for my poor Linda.  He charged $30 but we gave him $40 so grateful that he stopped and helped. Once Linda gets the deck open she can get the snowblower out and clean up the rest of the mess. Still can’t see the heat pump and not sure if we can get it up and running today. The main Road is open be it rather narrow but at lease a few vehicles are out and about. The Island remains shut down for the day schools etc all closed, necessary to allow the plows to do their clean up work. The bad new is another system is arriving on Thursday, only 10-15 centimeters predicted! but on top of the 80 already down that is not good. Sorry this has to be another snow blog, but what else is there? no newspaper today and our politicians are all staying close to home. Not much to blog about under such circumstances, but not to worry we will soon be back to normal.

God Bless and keep reading
