Attached below is just a short excerpt from the Full story released today by the Globe & Mail, Canada’s National Newspaper. I was simply amazed by the greed corruption and underhanded activities that could equal a James Bond movie. It clearly explains the sudden resignation of Robert Ghiz, and the more recent resignation of Sheridan. I have been blogging for several years on the total failure of the Ghiz government. There is no question, I was right on target, Robert Ghiz was the worse Premier in island history and Sheridan joins him as the worse Minister of Finance in island history.

In a December interview with The Globe, the finance minister said he had no idea CMT and Simplex were connected. “I to this day do not know that Paul Maines and Philip Walsh had a business relationship. And he wasn’t part of any of our work,” Mr. Sheridan said.
Mr. Sheridan resigned a few weeks after the interview. Premier Ghiz resigned the day before CMT’s investigator released his report, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family. On numerous occasions, a government spokesperson told The Globe, both Mr. Ghiz and Mr. Sheridan have said their decisions to leave public office have nothing to do with the proposed deal.

I urge all islander who read this to share it via Face Book and Twitter. This is a story all islanders must hear. I still find it difficult to believe such greed and corruption could be possible from our elected leaders and government staffers’

As you know I have never been a LIBERAL but I am sure that Joe Ghiz would be thoroughly ashamed of his son and his actions against the people of PEI. Greed is a terrible sin.
I know I tend to go on a wee bit about politicians, but I never for a moment imagined they were really this corrupt .
