I can’t believe this is happening again and its not even Saint Patrick’ Day yet, in fact this weather will probably cause the cancellation of St Pats day. All day Sunday it snowed and blew and today 6 am Monday morning it is still blowing and snowing. The last report I heard we have received over 48 centimeters of snow and that’s on top of what was already here. I had to help Linda through the window again because we could not get out either door. The dogs were getting desperate but still not keen to venture outside without a gentle shove!!. Look at the patio doors, this morning the drift is above the top of the door. In the last storm it only reached two thirds of the way up??? I wonder if that means its getting worse or if Spring has deserted us. The darker photo, if you look carefully you might be able to see the house across the road. Egad’s What to do??? go back to bed or find a shovel for Linda, Nah, I’ll just have another cup of coffee.
God Bless and keep reading. As someone once said ” this also will pass”
My friend if anyone asks me WHY? I left PEI it is that old familiar 4 letter word…………………
SNOW. A beautiful scenic Island in Summer but By God you have to be resilient to abide there.
I hope you still have a Bushmills left to celebrate St Patricks Day. Your snowboundness (is that a word) brings to mind what we used to say when we were sent to Egypt on 24 Notice from Petawawa Nov 73 The snow in Petawawa that year was almost as bad as PEI this year. The joke was Hell the wife is ok before I left I ordered a new chevelle ……..a Snow Shovel.
Cheer to you and your good lady SPRING is coming.
Robby and Sasha in a Snowless Scotland.
Bushmill’s is at hand, I need something to retain my sanity. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day.
