I did not author the story I have copied it to my blog, the subject was raised by a lady attending a liberal campaign rally in Souris 8th April 2015. She asked Wade MacLauchlan if he remembers a young woman who was apparently the victim of an attempted rape by Prof Sean Wiebe. The incident is alleged to have taken place at UPEI while MacLauchlan was president. After a brief research I found this info on the net, But have no way to verify if there is any truth to it. However, Wade Maclauchlan would surely remember if such an incident did occur. He is the Liberal candidate for Premier and presently covering the island talking transparency and honest government. It might be prudent for him to clarify the issue, especially if true, because as it stands, it appears much less than transparent! —————————————————————————————————–
Canada, Political Corruption, Whistle Blowers, “The Official Opposition to Corruption in PEI”
While Murray Murphy was the lawyer representing UPEI, under directions of President Wade MacLaughlin, a female victim of sexual assault was tormented and badgered relentlessly by Murphy, often in concert with Wade MacLaughlin. Dalhousie University is trying to save its integrity with Restorative Justice, UPEI calls it alternate dispute resolution. Murray Murphy routinely lost his temper and roared torment upon the victim. A signature was forged in the case, RCMP reviewed signatures which appeared forged. The victim had been induced to accepting a huge cash payment, then Murphy, MacLaughlin and UPEI went back on their word. This is a typical “alternate dispute resolution” solution or a “restorative justice solution”. Gag the offended and tie them up in legal threats, eh Murray? Such off the books and off the record “solutions” are essential if you are covering up disgusting practices in trusted institutions, like Universities. Murray and Wade regularly trampled on rights and Wade even declared, “their are no human rights here” while he and Murray badgered the woman. UPEI Professor Sean Wiebe attempted to rape the woman, the University had to pay over 100,000.00 dollars but they ignored the rest of the contract hand in hand. Ask Wade and Murray, they have such great visionary ideas with the “party” leaderships in PEI. _____________________________________________________- So much skullduggery has been going on in island politics over the last few years it is becoming very difficult to believe anything politicians tell us. . So much for transparency-integrity-honesty and openest. I leave you to judge!!!! If this is an accurate account, then well done to the Whistle Blowers God Bless and keep reading
This should be plastered on the front pages of Newspapers all over PEI. It is an example of what goes on in the hallowed halls of the legal profession, under the cloak of secrecy of acceptable practices, spewing out of our Halls of Further Education. These are the teachers of children from K to 12 and then on into Universities across the Country and we wonder why Politics is in the decay it is in and we have to suffer through these corrupt processes.
The problem is actually exposing the facts, if indeed there are facts pertaining to the alleged rape attempt. Has the victim been paid off, has she been threatened, what is her name and why did she not come forward?? I need to be careful what I post, I have already been visited by the RCMP over the needles in island spuds!!
She was threatened, and threats followed through
Yet I have heard nothing since! cover up???
