I’m not sure where the term “Crack of Dawn” originated but it seems I’m up at the crack of it every morning. If you have noticed the two handsome dogs photographed to the right, they may have something to do with dawn. They may even know where the term came from because they never miss, never sleep in and are never late for breakfast. I have come to the conclusion they are my breakfast buddies. Especially Yoda the hairy one. Each morning without fail Yoda arrives on my side of the bed, tongue at the ready, wiggling and wagging and if he could talk would be saying Dad Dad its morning get up, I’m hungry dad. One would think that as I’m a reasonably senior senior citizen and long since retired I could lay on in the mornings. Surely I have nothing pressing that requires my presents at the ungodly hour of 6 am. I’m not sure about the crack of dawn, but it seems I’m a wee bit cracked myself getting up so early. However, there is one other possibility!!! could it be that Linda has trained the dogs to do this. Oh well!! up I get. let the dogs out. prepare their breakfast, heck they don’t even fetch the newspaper, I have to do that and once they finish their breakfast, its back to their comfortable beds for their morning nap. Gee its a dogs life!!!!
God Bless and keep reading
