A New Prime Minister

trudeauI think the best thing that can be said about yesterdays election results is that Harper is gone. It is also good to finally wake up and find the longest election campaign in Canadian history is over too. As for a Liberal sweep! well, I will hold my thoughts on that for the moment. It was certainly not due to Trudeau Mania, nor was it due to wonderful Liberal candidates or a strong platform of promises. The results rests completely with the voting public and the overwhelming desire to get rid of Harper. One could say mission accomplished, we have a new Government and a new Leader. We can only hope that things will get better now since the Harper demise. Many issues to be dealt with, not the least of which is the Bill C-51, the Syrian crisis and the many other neglected problems here at home.  Time will tell if we have made a great improvement in electing a huge majority government, and I`m not completely convinced

    I don’t believe a lot of other people are convinced a majority Govt is the answer, after all we are still paying for the last Trudeau PM’s folly, Democracy at work again.
