I have to wonder how any of the Liberal MLA’s can continue to work and support the Crown Prince of the Party. Yet, at the same time fulfill their obligations to the voters. How can they bend again and again to the ridiculous cover ups and demands of King Wade. Of all MLA’s surely Bush Dumville is the one to make the first move and cross the floor. Bush has been badly mistreated by first Ghiz and now MacLauchlan. In the last election the Liberal party ran another candidate against him, the sitting MLA. Unheard of or at least most unusual for a party to do during an election. Regardless, Bush won the seat, probably to the chagrin of Wade. This is his third successful election win, but he’s never going to be offered a cabinet position. He recently chaired a committee, but was quickly removed and replaced by Kathleen Casey, who was more willing to do the boss’s bidding. I urged Bush to cross the floor several years ago, unfortunately he ignored my advice. However, today the time must surely be right, Bush is 70, this is probably his last term. If he isn’t going to run again then why not exercise his integrity and obligations, not only to himself, but also to his supporters. Cross the floor and sit out your term as an Independent, what have you got to lose? On the other hand you could have much to gain by this action. Just my thoughts Bush, I hope you will give them serious consideration. The present Liberal government under MacLauchlan is doomed to fail so get out while you still can.

PEI MLA Bush Dumville is unhappy with the treatment he has received from Premier Wade Maclauchlan, we are told he intends to sit as an Independent. Dumville failed to negotiate a ‘whopper’ of a deal to retire and make room for Conservative Leader Rob Lantz in a by election bid, for a seat in the Legislature. The deal fell apart, Lantz quit, Dumville is hoping to cause a mutiny in PEI Liberals?
It is well known that Wade Maclauchlan is a control freak, he often e-mails instructions out at all hours of the night on any developing issues. The Ministers of his Cabinet have been severely disciplined compared to the Ghiz terms and many of the Caucus are mutinous over the Coronated Maclauchlan attitude.
Maclauchlan has changed many posts and responsibilities to suit ‘his pleasure’, the body count will escalate now that the elections are out of the way. Premier Wade has tossed Dumville aside along with other stooges like Robbie Henderson and others who feel they belong in Cabinet.
Apparently Dumville negotiated with the Conservatives about resigning the seat and causing a by election for a few envelopes of thanks, Lantz could not get elected now so the deal fell apart. Dumville has resisted any upset until the election was over, watch close.
