Let’s burn more wood?

I really do try not write about Island politics too often. But it’s a tough road to travel, Island politicians never cease to do incredibily stupid things! Let’s have a look at the latest from (our English speaking only) MLA Paula Biggar! She is promoting the idea that all our Island schools should be heated with wood! Duh. Is this a plan designed to remove the risk of forest fires on PEI? Perhaps she believes we might risk the same dangers as the recent forest fires in California. Heating island school with only wood should soon cause Island deforestation. In other words, in no time at all the Island will be laid bare of trees. Hence no island forest fires! Why is this proposal so incredibily stupid? Are we not trying to cut carbon emissions, does Paula Biggar think burning wood across the island is going to help? One has to wonder if she has heard of solar energy or if she understand the concept of solar power. I understand solar power has limited interest within the liberal government, so perhaps Biggar is not solely to blame. The incentives proposed by the MacLauchlan government to cut carbon emissions are nothing more than election goodies. Is it any wonder the premier has the worse polling numbers of any island leaders. The island has no incentives to change to solar energy in residential homes. No incentives to use public transport, to buy electric or hybrid vehicles. Indeed no public transport for the rural areas at all. But hey! big savings deals on car registrations, and driver licenses. That will surely reduce our carbon footprint right? Like I already stated, some incredibly stupid decisions from this government who appear to have only one thing in mind. The drawing ever nearer of a provincial election

Brought to you by the government that gives us the finger!!!!!

God Bless and keep reading

It’s really, really, really scary how politicians can be so totally, totally, totally stupid. Surely, this is fake news. Are there people speaking openly in asking how a politician could even possibly make such a suggestion? Where did this come from and wouldn’t such a suggestion be laughed at? It’s disturbing.

I don’t think it was always this bad, just seems in the last few decades these low life’s have discovered how easy it is to get away with crime if you become a politician.
