Davy (Budge) Crocket

This all began way back in the eighties when Budge was eight years old. We were visiting Niagara Falls and went into a local gift shop to browse. Susannah spotted a Davy Crocket hat, or perhaps better know as a Coon Skin Cap. We bought it for her and so began her fascination with wearing a dead animal on her head. A fascination that appears to have continued to this day. However, she has on occasion worn a different head dress depending on the season, or when playing a role in a play.  Nevertheless the Davy Crocket hat remains supreme. Just look at and enjoy her before and after hats or should that be then and now hats.. She has featured in such places as Toronto, Charlottetown, St Johns, Halifax and more recently Chattanooka USA. I take my hat off to my Davy Crocket daughter.

God Bless and I love you whatever the hat you are wearing
