This week I have blogged about the police and the youth. I guess I might also have mentioned politicians once or twice. It appears some people have a problem with the police. It also appears some people have problems with today’s youth. However, it is crystal clear everyone has a problem with politicians. Is it any wonder? The nation is
plagued with government scandal after scandal, and to the average citizen there appears to be no end in sight. We have a minority government and I think under normal circumstances we would have long since had a motion of no confidence. But these are not normal circumstances, we have covid, we have a conservative leadership race, and we have liberal scandals and corruption. Is there an answer to the mess we are in, the monster deficit that continues to grow daily. It grows while the PM continues to hand out favours and grants to friends and family. At any other time this government would be out of office. Yet we seem to have little or no alternative to these issues. The Conservatives are as scary as the liberals regardless of who the new leader might be. The NDP have apparently thrown in with the Trudeau gang. The Block are only interested in Quebec, and the Greens mostly impotent. Searching for an answer is elusive for the future outlook of this nation. In my own humble opinion I only see one solution. We must have Proportional Representation, an across the board variety of politicians instead of the same old two party’s .
God Bless and keep reading.
