Preparing for family arrivals.

Susannah is presently heading for the Newfoundland ferry, night crossing. Expected to arrive home tomorrow evening. She is home for good (maybe) and has a job waiting for her. I expect she will settle in the Charlottetown area(yes she is driving). Linda’s nephew and wife are arriving Friday from Ontario, they have a new home in Union Corner. They will have to isolate for fourteen days, their furniture is following. However, in the meantime we did what we could to make the bare essentials available for them. Two fold up cots, coffee machine, towels and bedding. Most importantly, Linda install two toilets with seats. They are bringing some other essentials with them, so hopefully the transition will go smoothly. While Linda was installing the toilet seats I had an insulin drop, felt very weak and dizzy. Fortunately there was a couple of cans of pop handy which helped raise my sugar. I’m on a new long lasting insulin (Tresiba)and I’m still adjusting. All in all we had a good but busy day. I even made a big pot of soup, just like I did during our coffee shop days. Linda tells me I haven’t lost me touch!

God Bless and keep reading
