Weather

It is said, when we meet people on the street we so often talk about the weather. You know the sort of remarks, “nice day” “expecting rain” “awful weather” and so on. Well, yesterday’s weather provided more than a pleasant passing comment of weather remarks. We left Abram Village in the morning, it was a wee bit overcast but otherwise not a bad day. We were headed to the QEH for tests. By the time we arrived at the hospital it was a terrible day, blowing and snowing, note date 4th April. At approximately 2.30pm with my tests finished we started for home in blizzard like conditions. The roads were snow covered with very poor visibility, drifting snow and white outs. We could not see if the traffic lights were red or green until we were almost on top of them. On the other side of Fredricton things began to improve, by Kensington we were on dry pavement. Back in Abram Village no sign of snow, rain or wind. Today the 5th April 2022 around lunch time I sat on my deck in glorious sunshine. The weather was beautiful, so warm I had to remove my sweater. I marvelled at the way nature changes with the seasons. Or maybe in the case of yesterday from county to county. Today I’m Sitting with my cup of tea gazing into the clear blue sky. I noticed the big trees around our home, buds already appearing. Yet I find it difficult to reconcile yesterdays storm with todays peaceful serenity. But yeah! We do talk a lot about weather right?
God Bless and keep reading.
