Climate Crisis

Many people around the World are doing what they can to help protect our planet from  the climate crisis. Indeed we have planted five thousand trees on our land, we recycle, pickup trash and generally do our bit for for a cleaner World. However, no matter what people do, commendable as it is, it’s not enough to prevent the planet from heating up. The only people that can bring about real change are the governments. Unfortunately no government is truly committed to real action. The dreadful ambitions of Putin and his war is only causing more pollution and damage, death and destruction. Our own government pay lip service to the problem, but actually do little to nothing in attempting to improve our emissions. While Canada is one of the worse polluters we are far from being alone. The US, China, India and so many other nations all contribute to the carbon foot print. Until our World leaders realize it is only them who can change the dangerous direction we are headed, nothing will improve. Demand local politicians understand and act on everyone’s behalf to reduce emissions. It doesn’t matter if it’s just a local provincial politician, make them realize that they can make a difference. It has to happen soon, or we will be too late, civilization is on a path to destruction. Talking electric cars and buses, is not the answer, industrial pollution and greed is where we must start.
