PC Bully Boy

From what I’m hearing from today in the legislature, it was quite childish and bullying. Head of the class was the mighty mouth MLA Steven Myers. He used what by any reasonable standard was rude, offensive and out of order. These are the apparent words he used against Peter Bevan Baker, calling him GUTLESS and a PHONEY. He and premier King both claimed several times what PBB had stated was Unbelievable . The general behavior from the government side in the house was childish with heckling, jeering and general rowdiness. Something one might expect from children in the school play grounds. However, what really eludes me is, where was the speaker during this chaos? Isn’t he supposed to keep order, to correct MLAs in the way they address each other. Isn’t he supposed to maintain decorum. He sure doesn’t correct the nasty words Steven Myers uses, no warnings given no apologies to leader of opposition. Have we elected these people to behave just as they like? Or do we expect them to act like adults. I recall during the last liberal government, Richard Brown complained the use of the word farce was inappropriate and PBB was asked to apologize,
which he did. No apologies were demanded by the speaker today for Gutless, or phoney. That begs the question WHY???
